Pangolin

There are two species of pangolins, both small mammals native to Asia and Africa. They are dangerously out of control. Either the sundae pangolin or the Philippine pangolin are out in the open in shady areas.  I don’t know where the Sundae pangolin or the Philippine pangolin are left. The pangolin is out of harm’s way .However, IUCN reports that all pangolins are in decline.

Natural History pangolin:

               Pangolin which is the African black bellied pangolin. Africans are terrestrial. Everyone is awake at night or is able to sleep a little. Terrestrial from live in burrows. Pangolin eat mainly on termites. Or they eat ants or insects. They smell and use their forefeet to rip open nests. Their defense is the emission of an odorous secret form large and glands. The ploy of rolling up. Stand in front of the enemy to chase the pangolin. Lions, tigers, hyenas are strong enough to penetrate the pangolin armor. The pangolin is in a cowardly hut and does not live alone. It lives in a group. Usually one young is born in a pangolin at a time. In other broods two or three offspring have been observed in some Asian species. Young pangolin is soft at all times and is carried on the feet of the female for some time. It is known as a bird during life in the jungle.

The Body Of The Pangolin:

                 Except for the size of the face and the lower part of the body, it is made of cement bubbles. It is covered with brightly colored fur. The head is small and has a mustache, dense eyes, and long teeth without hair. The fangs are short. The five-toed feet have webbed claws. There is a time when the feet are loose and a rope is also made for support along the thighs.

Pangolin Birth Number:

               African pangolin females give birth to only one offspring, while other breeds may give birth to one to three. However some individuals have lived for such a long time.

The Pangolin Is Rolling Over:

                  By rolling over, the males are so used to rolling over that they are compelled to do it until the minutes are up. The genus of pangolins belongs to the Maidie, Phatagnidae or Smutsidae group.

The tail and weight of the pangolin:

                  Pangolins are 30 to 90 centimeters (1 to 3 feet) long or 5 to 27 kilograms (10 to 60 pounds) in weight. The length of the pangolin is about 26 to 70 cm (about 10 to 28 inches).

The Tongue Of The Pangolin:

            The tongue is like a horse’s and can be up to 25 cm (10 inches) long.

Diet:

                Pangolins are mammal insectivores that prefer eating ants. Hence called scaly anteaters. Termites including their larvae. Or sometimes. Their food is other small vertebrates like, Flies, worst earthworm, crickets, or bee larvae. Pangolins mostly eat one or two prey.

Behavior:

           Pangolins are nocturnal, and spend their days asleep, curled up in their ass. Or work on turf in a quality defensive manner and protecting them with their tough scales again potential threats and mammals mostly live in a hut or have a hut only during breeding season.

Distribution and Habitat:

                There are four species of Asian pangolins, the Chinese, Indian, Palawan and sundae pangolin and Asian pangolin. The white-bellied, terrestrial, and long-tailed pangolin are found in sub-Saharan Africa. These mammals occupy a variety of habitats. (They are found in tropical or swamp forests, savannah grasslands and even clearly agricultural land & vegetation, especially on the trunks of trees)When the sundae or white-bellied pangolins an aquatic animal, it lives in the darkest of hollows. The terrestrial pangolin burrows in underground tunnels.

Size:

       Pangolins range in length from 30 to 100 cm (12 to 39 in). The Sabs Bari Nasal, the giant terrestrial pangolin, is 1.8 m (70.8 in) long and weighs about 33 kg (72.7). The SB short-haired, long-tailed pangolin Sadr is 80 cm (31 in) long and weighs barely 1.6 kg (3.5).Males are growing and have lost 40% of their weight Females do not have a hump, males do.
